Slicer is not working well on PowerBI.com

Issue 1: I have a report with Smart Filter by OKViz. It suddenly stop working that the smart filter is not repected any more. But it is working well in the .pbix file open on PowerBI desktop. Publishing it to PowerBI.com won't fix this issue.

 

Issue 2: I gave up the smart fitler due to the issue described above. I changed them to slicer and set them as dropdown. But after publishing to PowerBI.com, the slicer displays as a list. There is something wrong with PowerBI.com. How could the setting on desktop not being repected by PowerBI.com?

Hi @DataScientist, 

 

I tested on my side but not able to reproduce these two issues on my side. Please test with our sample report on your side to check if the same issue occurs. The report is created in the latest Power BI desktop version 2.70.5494.562 64-bit (June 2019) and the Smart Filter by OKViz is the latest version as well.
