Share Google BigQuery Connection on Desktop

Hello,

I am trying to figure out a way to setup a Google BigQuery connection in Power BI Desktop, that can be shared with others using their Power BI Desktop.

This is already achievable in Power BI service, that you create a BQ connection and share it with others, so is there a way to do so in Desktop as well?

Hi  @nouraali369 ,

sharing the connection with others using their Power BI Desktop is not straightforward. Power BI Desktop is primarily a development tool, and it doesn’t have built-in sharing capabilities like Power BI Service. The typical workflow is to develop reports in Power BI Desktop, then publish them to the Power BI Service where they can be shared with others.

If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is the right place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
