Hi all,
I've just again encountered the bug where PBI Query Editor is deleting a huge portion of my queries. This bug has actually been around for a while already, but only now it occurred to me what is actually happening.
My setup:
I have a file that reads several (approximately 10) different folders to read invoice from different suppliers. Since every supplier has its own setup, I have a folder "Sources", which contains a subfolder for each supplier. Every folder uses the folder connector to transform and load the invoices via a function (some I have changed directly, others are still dependent on the original sample file).
What happens:
When I start building a new query, using the option to connect to a folder I enter a path and click "Combine & Transform Data". So far, so good, the connector combines my data and shows me a preview. However (!), if I cancel right now (in the window: "Combine Files"), it will not only cancel my new connector, it will in fact delete every single subfolder from the top folder in where I am building (in my case the folder "Sources" and every subfolder and every query in every subfolder). Naturally, my file becomes entirely unworkable thereafter and the only thing I can do is discard changes. What you should definitely NOT do is save your file, unless you're working with GIT, after which you can restore from your last commit. Either way, every unsaved change since then is lost.
Below I've added an example with a new report which I just filled with some minimal testdata to show you what I mean.

Please fix this and thank you for your help!
Cheers,
Niels
