Saving of existing report no longer works with Version: 2.140.1078.0 64-bit (February 2025)

My Desktop client updated to Version: 2.140.1078.0 64-bit (February 2025) and as of this update I am now no longer able to save existing files locally.

Steps to reproduce:

- Download file from Service

- Open downloaded file. Make any change.
- Hit Save and notice that the last saved time on the top left doesn't update.

- when clicking publish the save dialog prompts to save but doesn't save and therefore publish dialog never shows.

- when clicking exit the save dialog comes up but clicking save doesn't save therefore it doesn't exit.

 

Only reports that I create new are able to be saved. When i download from service i am not able to save the file to disk after editing.

I disabled the following preview features and now it works again: - PowerBi Project (pbip) save option - TMDL View
