Salesforce Object Connector field/record refreshing problem

Hello!

I'm using Salesforce Object Connector for PowerBI to get my data. I changed some text only fields to State and Country/Territory picklist in Salesforce, because i would like to eliminate the country mis-matches.  It works fine in Salesforce, but doesn't work with Salesforce Object Connector, the records haven't been refreshing, so i can only see the old (text only) country records. (ex. USA instead of United States...)  The other interesting thing , it works with Salesforce Report for PowerBi, but it is very limited.

I tried to sign in and out, and also tried the advanced editor where i can change the data source salesforce API version. I checked the main permission issues.

Any Suggestion?

Thanks!

Best Regards

Gabor

Hi @ModiGaben

Please correct me if I understood your issue wrongly .

Your data source is Salesforce and you connected Salesforce via Salesforce Object Connector in Power BI Desktop . Then you changed some text only fields in Salesforce , but the changes didn't update to Desktop, did they ? But I don't understand what you mean by it works with Salesforce Report for PowerBi ?

Hi @Anonymous

Yes, you understood correctly. I changed the text only field to country/territory picklist type field.  The object connector see the picklist type field, but doesn't see the updated record inside them. For example i changed USA to United States. Only USA appear.

Some updated records shows up when i use the Salesforce Reports for PowerBi tool, but main problem is the Salesforce Object Connector.  (In PowerBI desktop you can use 1.Salesforce Object Connector or 2. Salesforce Reports (which is limited to 2000rows))

Thank you!
