There is a bug in the combobox that is used to add people or groups who belong to a Dataset Security Role in app.powerbi.com. Entering text matches AAD groups using "starts with" matching logic but does not return all matching AAD groups! I was entering 9 characters to match and it returned 8 matching AAD groups and left out at least another 6. To reliably find a match, I had to enter the full name of the desired AAD group which defeats the whole purpose of the combobox! If you aren't going to match on all groups, then make the control a simple drop-down instead of a combobox.

Hi,
What do you mean by “Entering text matches AAD groups using "starts with" matching logic but does not return all matching AAD groups”?
Would you like to post some screenshots which may show the issue detail more clearly so that it can help us to make sure if it’s an issue in the Power BI RLS.
Thank you very much!
Best Regards,
