Report mailed to customer on different domain doesn't open in app

I've created a report using account1@domain.com

I've shared it to account2@domain2.com

When I try to open the report on my iOS device, it asks if it has to open the report in Power BI, but after a second it goes back to Safari and opens the report there. Opening shared reports only seems to work within the same domain.

It's a limitation that external shared report can't be opened in Power BI mobile apps, please see this article:

• This feature is not currently available with the Power BI mobile apps. On a mobile device, you can view Power BI content shared using Azure AD B2B in a browser.
