Report Server - scheduled refresh fails with Merge present

Whenever a merge is present in a file we upload, scheduled refresh fails.

This error message detail is returned:

"An item with the same key has already been added."

As a test, removing the Merge and using a CTE in SQL does not give the error

Which Power BI report server do you run? Which data source do you connect to? 

Based on my test in Power BI desktop optimized for report server version 2.51.4885.1423 64-bit (October 2017), get data from SQL data source use Import mode and do a merger queries action, after publish the report to Power BI report server version 14.0.600.438, the schedule refresh is completed successfully. Please try to update the desktop and report server version to the latest one and test again.

We have exactly the same issue - running on the October version of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Server (on prem)

Versions:

Power BI Desktop - 2.51.4885.1423

Power BI Report Server - 1.1.6530.30789 (October 2017)

Please advise how to resolve

Same here.  Merge causes an error during sheduled refresh on the server, but can manually refresh Power BI from the desktop(Oct 2017) .
