Report Parameters in Desktop no longer publish to the Service. This needs to be fixed.

I am using two parameters for a url string.  In desktop, I'm able to update parameters, but after publishing to the Service, I get an error message which says "Parameters haven't been defined for this dataset yet. If you want to set parameters, use the Query Editor."

This worked about a month ago.

I have the same problem and the solution from your link doesn't help. Do you have any other ideas?

I also tried the method described in the link and it did not work.

@Anonymous ,

Have you use the parameter in power bi? For example, filter the table using query parameter as below.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.  Attached is my parameter setup and the query it references is a list of dates.

@Anonymous ,

What I mean is have you apply/use the query parameter in some senarios? For example, filter rows or select data source?

Thanks @v-yuta-msft

I added the filter but now get an error which reads "Expression.Error: A cyclic reference was encountered during evaluation."

Here is the filter.

@Anonymous ,

Isn't the operator should be "More then" and "Less then"?
