Removing someone from an App does not appear to prevent them from refreshing data via Analyze in Exc

A user was added to the distribution list for an App, 

the user added that App and then set up Analyze in Excel from the data set

the user was then removed from the distribution list of the App

the user can still refresh the Excel file

I would have thought that they should no longer be able to refresh?

It appears this is just a timing thing, as after about an hour the refresh no longer worked
