Despite our best efforts we do not seem to be able to get emails notifying us when the automated refreshes for a dataset fail.
The account in question has no O365 email license so the email and alternate email addresses are set to an email distribution group from our actual domain tenant as opposed to this dev one.
The account shown has a BI pro license (if that matters).
As mentioned whether it is a manual or automated refresh.. still no notification.
The checkbox to enable the notification clearly set for the dataset.
So the question is whether anyone from Support is able to double check the logs to trace what notifications if any are being generated and where they are attempting to go?
Workspace is called "AlertTesting" and a specific refresh failure detail looks like:
Any help would be gratefully accepted as a couple of us have been battling this for a few days now trying variations.
This is for workspaces that are either associated to a premium (embedded) capacity or not albeit ultimately the workspaces will be from a provisioned capacity.
