Power bi gateway to connect Azure SSAS tabular from power bi service.

Hi guys, please any one answer. Do we need the power bi gateway to connect Azure SSAS tabular from power bi service.

Hi @Anonymous,

Azure Analysis Service is on the cloud, Power BI doesn't require gateway to connect to it. 

On Azure side, when you create Azure Analysis Service, if data comes from on-premise data source, it requires gateway on Azure portal, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/analysis-services/analysis-services-gateway

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft, In my recent projects i have tried to connect blob staorage in power bi desktop using connector , i given URL for blob staorage but asked the account key, could you please clarify what is the account key
