Power KPI Matrix - Error rendering Flyout when Automatic formatting is selected

Hello,

I have an issue with the Power KPI Matrix. 

The issue occurs when I click a trendline for the flyout while utilizing automatic formatting of my values (Targets and Actuals). Instead of a line graph with 2 values (Actual and Target) and a KPI I get a render error with a blank chart.  It worked fine for months and then this happened within the last month or two months back.

Hi @Sowings,

What do you mean about "utilizing automatic formatting of my values (Targets and Actuals)"? Would you please share a pbix file to reproduce the issue? 

Please run the latest August Power BI desktop and Power BI KPI matrix visual.

What I meant was I have Actuals under Current Value and Targets under Comparison Value. These two values were set to Automatic Formatting for months of use then one day the KPI stopped properly displaying the flyout with Automatic Formatting on.

I unfortunately can not share a PBIX file with the error. My source is an SSAS cube housing all in-house metrics and I lack the ability to add new cubes for demo purposes to our On-Prem gateway.

 Here you can see the flyout works fine.

After Formatting

 When I turn on Automatic Formatting the Measures show up but the chart fails to render.

It has been happening on the last 3 release versions of Power BI Desktop software (Jun/Jul/Aug) and I have updated the Visual Component several times between then and now and it is still an issue.
