Power Bi disconnected to Onedrive excel spreadsheet

One of my dashboards no longer seems to be updating the new data from my ondrive excel spreadsheet in Power Bi. My other dashboards are still working and the data can be updated. Anyone know why this is happening? I haven't moved or changed anything about the spreadsheet, just added more data to an established table.

Hi  @Williabar ,

By default, Power BI updates model information from OneDrive and SharePoint on an hourly basis. If you want these updates to occur manually, you can disable automatic OneDrive refresh in the dataset settings. Open the dataset settings, expand the OneDrive refresh section, and set the toggle to Off.

You may also consider:

Ensure the link/path of the source file is correct.

Edit Permissions and enter credentials that have access to the source file.

You can do a one-time, manual refresh right in Power BI Desktop by selecting Refresh on the Home ribbon. When you select Refresh, you refresh the file’s model with updated data from the original data source.

You need to set a scheduled refresh so the Power BI model will contain the latest version of the data from your Excel file. You can also manually refresh your dataset, but if you want to make sure it has the latest data every day, scheduled refresh is the way to go.

Best regards.
