Hi @nitya_rp,

From your description, it seems the issue happens in Power BI service not in Power BI desktop, right?

Would you please share some screenshot to clarify the issue? As the issue doesn't exist in desktop, please update the desktop to the latest version then republish to see if the issue persists.

Best Regards,

Updated my desktop version and republished. Issue still exists on the Power Bi service.

Hi @nitya_rp,

Does the issue happen to other reports? Would you please share detail steps for us to reproduce the issue?

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft

Yeah. The issue is happening on other reports as well.

The report was published from my desktop.

I had added a report level filter that allows the data to be filtered based on the date. It was set at Aug 1, 2017.

On the desktop version, I am able to successfully change the date, apply the filter and accordingly the data is displayed.

However, on the web service, that date filter is frozen. There is a drop down from where I can change the date. But whenever I make a selection, the date does not change from Aug 1.

If I export this file to my desktop, it still works on the desktop.

Thanks,

Nitya

Hello,

Hello,

I am having a very similar issue. Did you find a fix?

I am using the Advanced filter option in Power Bi Online on a date field. It has been working fine until this month. I am using On or after and On or before date criteria. It is as if the On or after filter is enabled but locked, so the user can drop the date picker, select a date, but the date doesn’t change in the On or after filed, it actually updates the On or before date!

This is the same when going into Edit Report mode. All the other filters seem to work. Power Bi desktop also works ok.

The work around is to manually type the date into the field which works. But not ideal obviously as the behaviour is confusing to say the least to users.

Any urgent help much appreciated.
