Power Bi - AWS

Good afternoon, 

 

I am trying to connect PowerBI with AWS, I am not the owner of the data base and it's one of our third parties. when trying to connect via powerBi we get an error, is it necessary for us to create an account on AWS, and why its the purpose as we are not going to manipulate the raw data as we are not the owners of the database?

Hi @miriambb ,

 

This is necessary. To connect to AWS  it is very important to verify the credentials.
