Power BI Accessibility questions

I've read the Power BI accessibility documentation and cannot seem to find answers to the following:

  • Focus indicator color contrast throughout a dashboard
  • Color contrast within maps
  • Drop down menu border color contrast on a dashboard
  • Keyboard only functionality within a map (map consistently zooms out, keyboard focus indicators are too light to visibly locate)
  • Customizing screen reader descriptions for more clarity (can add alt text but cannot adjust descriptions using jargon such as "card" and "slicer")
  • Accessing filter and focus mode buttons on interactive elements in a dashboard with keyboard, speech recognition, and screen reader

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi @RobinE ,

These are some detailed questions about the design of the assistive features, have you reviewed the following documents in detail?

Hi Caitlyn,

Yes, I have reviewed and will continue to work with the guiding documents. Thank you!

One additional question: Map legends continually change as map data changes. Is there a way to have the alt text change accordingly?
