Potential security risk with Microsoft Edge web browser and Power Bi - Profile Images

When using Microsoft Edge and the “web_select” feature to capture names, images, email addresses, and permissions in Power BI. 

If you then copy and paste that list into Excel you get a full resolution photo of the person.

However, if you try that on the Microsoft Teams webpage, you get a lower-resolution image of the user. 

In today’s age of digital security, you may want to expose a lower-resolution image in PowerBI as well.

I cannot post screenshots or more evidence for obvious reasons. 

Steps to reproduce the issue: 

• Login to PowerBI on the Edge browser
• Click on a dashboard
• Select File -> Manage permissions
• Right-click on the web page and select Web Capture
• Then select the 'Web select' tab
• Drag and select the user images, names, email addresses and permissions
• Copy the content into an Excel file
• You'll see a high-resolution image of the users.

The 'Web select' tab is not a PBI Service product issue, this is a browser issue. You will need to contact a Microsoft Edge web browser technician to address the issue.
