Pipeline Not Promoting Dataflow Correctly

When we publish a dataset that is connected to dataflow through a pipeline, the dataset in QA remained pointed to dataflows in DEV. As of yesterday, the dataflows would've promoted through (i.e. Dataset promoted to QA would point to Datalow in QA).

This isssue was across multiple datasets that we tested. Any one else having this issue?

We would like to know more about this issue, are there any error messages?

such as "Can't complete the deployment."

@Anonymous .. no error messages unfortunately. The only way we know was the data went wonky and then we used the view lineage to see the dataflows were still pointed to the dev environment. 
All of the dataflows are using the newer dataflow connection.

We switched our dataflow connections to the Power BI Dataflows (Legacy) connection and it worked.
