PBI Desktop Multiple Login Shutdown

Hi,

I am receiving multiple prompts to log into my work account
If I try to close out without logging, PBID shuts down

If I close PBID and reopen I have to login again
My login especailly from same IP address should be good for a few hours.

What I tried so far:
1.) Reboot - still same issue
2.) Uninstall PBID
Download latest installer
Install
Still same issue

Other ideas?
Thanks

Hi  @UncleLewis

Can you sign in Power BI Service with the work account ? What month is your current version of Desktop?

Hi @v-yetao1-msft
I can log into Service, I am prompted to login at least 2 times and then again later if inactive for some amount of time. I then get a challenge on authenticator and then then I get a dialog to allow to be managed by my org or this app only.

This is painful process multiple x per day.

1.) How to allow to be managed by my org? (I am the org - I have Premium account and log into my work account that I own)
2.) I should not be asked to login more than once - why 2x?

3.) I should not be asked to login more than once per 8 hrs if I am using the same IP address.

Thanks,

-w

What is the status of this request?
I was prompted to login to PBID 3 times just now.
While entering my credentails for a 3rd time PBID shut down.

Thanks,

I can relate. Multiple logins required in succession, while also requiring re-authentication on top of each login.  Also seems to occur with each time a file is opened. It's so excessive, almost happening every 15 minutes for me.
