How did you add new visuals to Power BI Desktop ? What is the version of your Desktop ? Have you made updates to Desktop ? Can you provide the screenshot of your error message ?
Originally I clicked on "Get more visuals", picked one and then tried to add it. Instead, I got a window with the message I quoted. I just tried it again and it worked, so I am assuming it was a bug in the service that day.

This seems to be an episodic problem. In any case the problem has been solved. I will change the status to "Delivered" .
