New datasource preview stop working

When you click between various tables in an SQL-source, it keeps refreshing a preview, if it didn't load the previous preview completely. This is done on a dynamics NAV database.

Do you mean that when we get "Preview is evaluating" for one table, and then switch to another table at once, it will always keep refreshing but not return a table preview?

I tested on my side but cannot repro the same issue as you. Are you using the latest Apr 2017 version of PBI Desktop?

@v-haibl-msft Yes, that is exactly what I mean. The database contains about 600 tables, and the largest contains about 1.1 million rows.


It is in Power BI version march 2017 on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

I think you can try with the Apr 2017 version. If issues persists, I suggest you to create a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com (see bottom of page).
If issue is resolved, you can share the solution here later to help others who have the same problem.
