Microsoft 365 usage analytics - data refresh

Hi everyone,

Does anybody advise on data refresh of the templated Microsoft 365 usage analytics app?

The documentation sais that "When you connect to the template app for the first time, it will automatically populate with your data for the previous 12 months. After that, the template app data will refresh weekly."

The automated data refresh is not happening. Connection works in the Service as confirmed by on demand refresh; but the data are not incrementing automatically.

Do I need to schedule the data set refresh from the PowerBI Service side? If so, can you advise on weekday and time.

Hi @jermako, 

Did you mean the report data not update after on demand refresh for dataset? Please go to Dataset Settings -> Refresh History to check if the refresh is finished successfully. 

To get updated data in report, we can set schedule refresh for dataset daily or weekly at any time. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-scheduled-refresh

I do that same exercise and get updates daily but especially when the month closes, it seems like the data is not all the way updated until the 10th or so of each month.. Like now, I see data for October but the September data changes every day still. 

Is this the expectation?

I have the same issue. Today is 2-12-2020 but I see data of Oktober. Refreshing is succesfull If I doe this automatically

Tengo el mismo problema en algunos casos presenta el mes anterior en otros el mismo mes en el que estamos pero cuando actualizo datos de usuarios estos no se ven reflejados en los siguientes 8 días o mas
