Matrix will only allow adding conditional formatting to 2 measure

I am trying to create a matrix which has 3 fields in the Rows section to drill down through, and 8 measures as the Values. This is fine until I try and add conditional formatting to 3 of the measures. I can add conditional formatting (making the text green, amber or red or adding data bars) to two measures, but when I try to apply formatting to a third measure the visual won't load and comes up with the following error:

This seems like a bug as I have tried it several times and every time end up with the same error which doesn't really give any information about how to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Sarena 

What is the version of Desktop you test ? Can you provide your sample(remove sensitive info) to us ? This way we can better handle your problem .

I am using version 2.109.1021.0 of PBI Desktop.

I'm trying to work out the best way to share a sample. I currently have the data coming from excel into dataflows, then a dataset.pbix file which is shared on the service and the report.pbix is connected live to this. Would a copy of the report pbix file be enough on it's own?
