Issue with latest version of Enterprise Gateway - Couldn't Register

We have older version of Enterprise Gateway working but when we trying to Register latest version of Enterprise Gateway on Windows Server 2016, we are getting the following error while older version works without issue on Windows Server 2012 SP2 and Windows Server 2016:

Failed to sign in. Please verify your credentials and try again.

The browser based authentication dialog failed to complete. Reason: WinInet cannot redirect. This error code might also be returned by a custom protocol handler.

   at Microsoft.IdentityModel.Clients.ActiveDirectory.AuthenticationContext.RunAsyncTask[T](Task1 task)

   at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.GatewayCommon.AuthenticationManager.AuthenticateWithSelectedUser(Uri authorityAddress, Uri resource, String clientId, Uri redirectAddress, String logOnHint)

Anyone has any idea what could be the reason of the above error during registeration.

I cannot repro the same issue on my side. Please refer to my screenshot below. Windows Server 2016 should be supported by Power BI on-premises data gateway.
