Issue with PBI Report Builder closing on its own when trying to validate a query

Hi, all!  I'm fairly new to the Power BI platform and this community, so forgive me if this isn't the correct place to post this.... Anyway, I'm having an issue with PBI Report Builder closing on its own when trying to validate a query.  I don't think it's a very complex one, and can't seem to find anything in the code that would cause the designer to shut down.  Has anyone else ever run into this is issue?

Have a great day!

Scott

Hi, @SAS_BI

Are there any errors when PBI Report Builder shuts itself down ?

Good morning, @Anonymous !  Unfotunately, no, there are no error messages displayed.  I went poking around in the folder directory for PBI Report Builder hoping to find a ".log" file, but, alas, I didn't see one.....

Hi @SAS_BI

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ?

Good afternoon, @Anonymous.  I just uninstalled, then reinstalled... Unfortunately, I'm having the same results.  When I run the report design, it will execute for a bit, then close the designer.

Best Regards,

Scott

Good morning, @Anonymous!  Have you been able to find anything on this issue?  Since I wrote the above post, I've had a couple more reports do the same thing when building them.

Have a great day!
