Issue with Mobile Link of the report

Hi,

I am having a table with one of the columns having URL to open report in power Bi app (e.g. mpsbi://....) but I am not able to show them as URL icons (like we can do with the web links) in the table.

Any idea how this can be achieved?

Power BI can't recognize the mobile link as an effective web URL, it is not proper to add the mobile link in table visual in Power BI Desktop, and show it as URL icon. 

An example is to send the mobile link via email, and end users can copy the mobile link in web browser of phone, which will redirect users to the target object(report/dashboard) in Power BI mobile app.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work for me as I have the URL's generated on each row of a table visual. It works on the web however the web links don't work on the mobile.

Based on my test, when I add mpsbi:// URL in table visual, Power BI Desktop doesn't recognize it as web URL even I set its type to web URL. Could you please share a screenshot here?

Yes, the mpsbi://URL doesn't get recognised as a URL. Thats pretty much my issue. 

I have different URL generated for each row of the table. I would link to open the child report using the link in the app when the parent report is being opened in the app.

Looks like the capability is not possible.

Yes. It is not possible. As my previous post, you can copy the link in browser of mobile phone, it will redirect you to Power BI mobile app.
