Issue connecting to BigQuery API error

This is the first time I am connecting to BigQuery in PowerBI and I have received this error after logging in

Details: "ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates

Any ideas on what I need to do to resolve this?

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you use Google BigQuery connector in Power BI desktop to get data?

As I tested, this connector doesn't require certificate. In your scenario, have you set certificate on Google BigQuery side? 

Please update the Power BI desktop to the latest Power BI desktop then test again.

Hi

I already have the latest version installed. I have cleared my cache now and cleared the connection and now getting the below.

I have clicked "Get Data" > "BigQuery"

Type in Google Username and password and then receive an authentication error

Sign in - Google Accounts

Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app

This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.

Can anyone help with this, please?
