Imported theme and inserted images are not working in Edge

Hi, 

 

I am using an imported theme and a couple of inserted images in my PBi report. 

 

Recently I have realised, that URL changed from www.powerbi.com to app.powerbi.com. Since then when I open the report in Microsoft Edge (Version 103.0.1264.37) the report not using my theme and the pictures are not loading. (the loading indicator keeps rolling) 

 

In other browsers or from Teams the report looks fine. 

 

Please help me to fix this.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood your question.
The theme you imported in the past when using www.powerbi.com is now not displaying parts of it correctly in app.powerbi.com.
This problem occurs only in Edge browser. Is that correct?

Is it possible to fix your problem if you re-import the theme?

I have created the Report(s) in Power BI Desktop  (Version: 2.93.1681.0 64-bit). We have uniform brand colors and font, so we have created a theme with these. (company_design_theme.json) The theme was imported in the Desktop application. (Themes -> Browse for themes -> Open). During the building of these Reports I have chosen colors for the visuals from these theme. I have also used inserted pictures. (like company logo) Then I have published the pbix files to the online service.

 

Now when I open the report in Edge browser, I see completely different colors, the font and it's size is also different. The picture of the company logo is not displayed, it keeps continuously loading. (also the same for other images as well) 

 

Republishing the reports did not solved the problem.

 

The problem occurs only in Edge browser, but this is our default browser, so many users see the reports incorrectly.
