Hi All

I don't see option in powerBI Get Data for Azure Mysql Database having SSH (private key).

Can I know how to connect in order to refresh the powerbi report.

As of now I need to use plink to open the port and create ODBC and connect to powerbi odbc which is lengthy and performance issues and also my system should be ON everytime for plink window.

Please help me on this since i have created very robust way.

Currently, Power BI lacks of the support for MySQL over SSH connection and it’s under review. You could vote and add your comments in similar idea in Power BI Ideas. Also, there is solution in under comments may help you achieve it.

Thank you for the update

But the link which given for alternative approach is causing big performance issue. It has to go in below 6 different data engines/layers/drivers/cloud/gateway/AD to get data from azure mysql

1) Plink 

2) ODBC

3) Mysql Drivers

4) Azure Mysql database

5) Gateway

6) PowerBI Data Source

Please help on this
