Hyperlink to reports not working from within PowerPoint

Dear gents,

is there any solution yet to this adapted post https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Hyperlink-to-reports-not-working-from-within-Word/m-p/74705...

I have an issue where I can't seem to link directly to a Power Bi report from a PowerPoint document. If a member of staff clicks the hyperlink in PowerPoint then they are taken to the Power Bi Sign in page (which after sign-in doesn't lead to the report).

If the link is copy and pasted into a browser, it works ok.

If the word document is PDF'd, the link works ok.
If the link is clicked within Excel (or teams or anywhere else), it works ok.

It is only when the link is clicked from within Powerpoint that it doesn't seem to work.

The proposal to add "&noSignUpCheck=1" to the end of the URL didn't work in our Power BI Premium landscape ?

Status: Investigating

Seems like still could not reproduce it in my side.

When I create a report with RLS and publish it to Power BI Service, after exporting to ppt, it gives me the same report page whatever link I clicked in the ppt, so RLS may not be the resaon in this issue.

Could not reproduce it in my side as far as my test, both tested in Edge and Chrome browser.

When click the link in Power Point, it will open the sign-in page, after signing in the accouts, it would direct to the report page correctly.

Did this issue both happen in Edge and Chrome in your side? If possible, could you consider sharing some screenshots(a gif would be better) which could reproduce this issue?

Thanks for the information, notice that 'a second link in ppt' so I have tested it again in my side but it looks like normal in all links for the ppt, see the below screenshots:

When I export a report to ppt from Power BI Service, click the first page link, it would direct to the sign-in page, after signing it would show the report page:

When I click other links in the ppt, it would open the report page directly instead of the sign-in page:

Have you tried to republish this report to different workspaces to check this issue again and did this issue happen in all your organizations or just your colleague?

Hi,

in fact it happens to everybody in the organization like that...

the report can't be moved to another workspace

one element that i've omitted in the description is that the report is protected by RLS : the colleagues see only some countries/businesses : maybe this is what creates the hiccup?
