How to connect PowerBI to EPM Cloud?

Trying to connect PowerBI to pull data directly from EPM Cloud but getting an error message. Does anyone know how to get around this? Or faced a similar issue before?

Is this even possible? Or one would need to only use a VNET (saw this from doing a little research online)

Hi @TL24 

If you are connecting to EPM Cloud in Power BI Desktop, you need to export the data from EPM Cloud and then load it into PBI Desktop as a data source.

The VNET you mention specifically refers to Azure virtual network (VNet) .It enables many types of Azure resources, such as Azure Virtual Machines (VM), to securely communicate with each other, the internet, and on-premises networks.  

You need to make sure your data source is within the range of data sources it supports.
