Help When Publishing

Yesterday I was able to replace a report or dataset from de powerbi desktop into de online without any trouble. Today, when I was publishing, I got an error, telling me that the report has already been published!!! Ofcourse it has been published, and now I want to replace the data and even the report... ¿What can I do?

Hi @JRuizIllescas,

What's the desktop version did you run? Please try to use latest one. Which workspace did you want to republish? Make sure this workspace really has the same report published before.

Publishing from Power BI Desktop has the same effect as using Get Data in Power BI to connect to and upload a Power BI Desktop file. Please try this to see if it works.
