Fix usage metrics report (for Reports)

I've been reviewing this issue in the community forum. It keeps getting marked as solved, but it is not solved.

The only place I can see to get usage metrics for reports is in the workspace. Beside the report there is the icon to view usage metrics. I know these reports are being used, but in all cases the usage metrics are blank.

Can this issue be resolved soon?

Hi @KEITHO

It can take up to 24 hours for data update in Usages Metrics report. I would suggest you go to Audit Log, check if there are view records for the reports. If it is, please ensure the Usage Metrics report doesn't hit the limitations listed here.

If the issue still occurs, I would suggest you create a support ticket to get help.

Thank you Qiuyu Yu, this has been helpful.

When i checked last time, I was able to view the audit log but now I see the message "You don't have the required permission. Check your permission and try again".

I will review for issues on the settings and revert if any issues arise.

Thanks Again!

I would like to share the resoltion provided by Deepa at microsoft to this issue.

Reports can only have their usage metrics once they have been viewed at least once by the content creater in the workspace.

Then, 24 hours later the usage metrics will be available.
