Excel Connect

Created an excel connected to my Power BI report. The problem I have is that for some columns, the numbers in the excel don't match the Power BI report. I have no clue on what is going on.

Any Ideas?

Hi @aflores,

Do you use the Power BI publisher for Excel add-in in Excel to connect to Power BI datasets?

Which data source does the Power BI dataset get data from? Which data type of the column has the issue in Excel? When you mention "the numbers in the excel don't match the Power BI report", please check if there are any slicers or filters set on Power BI report affect the results.

Please share detail information so we can try to test on our side.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

Hi Qiuyun Yu,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am Using the Power BI Publisher. And you just solved my problem. I started reviewing if some filters were aplied. That was the reason!

Thnk You!  Arturo
