Error when trying to export data (related to new live connection feature)

Our organization has recieved many complaints from users who were previously able to export data, but now get an error. This is related to the new "live connection" feature, which is the default for exporting data, but which only worked for users with dataset build permissions. May of our users do not have these permissions, and while our workaround is to switch from the live connection download to the previous .xlsx download, a good solution would be to allow workspace owners to select the default data download method that best suits their users.

You mean user without dataset build permissions cannot export data like below ?

Hi @Anonymous,

They can export data using the .xslx or .csv, but not with the new default "live connection" download option. So, when they go to do their usual downloads and get a new error, and there is some confusion. We would like to be able use .xlsx as the default download option, rather than 'live connection', which requires build permissions that many do not have.
