Error in Impala: All DISTINCT aggregate functions need to have same set of parameters as count

Hi,

We are using Impala (version 2.6) for data source and are connecting to it using the built-in driver that is included as part of Power BI Desktop (Sep 2017 update).

We are seeing the error below when executing the measure :

IsError = IF(ISFILTERED(Threshold[early]) && HASONEVALUE(Threshold[early]) && HASONEVALUE(Threshold[late]), FALSE(), TRUE())

On googling, we found that the issue might pertain to ODBC drivers being used.

The Hadoop team confirmed that it wouldn't be possible to incorporate any configuration changes from their end.

Does microsoft have a work-around/ fix for this issue?

Could you please try with the latest Oct 2017 version of Power BI Desktop to see if issue persists? If yes, could you also please include the generated zip file referenced in the frown email? (e.g. C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\FrownSnapShot933938817.zip)

Hi,

I tried it with Oct 2017 update.

However, there hasn't been any difference. Issue persists.

However, I m unable to add the zip files here. Using chrome version 61
