December Data Gateway Install Fails

Installation of december gateway version 3000.68.15 fails when trying to update from November 2020 Release 1 3000.66.4.

 

I have verified that .Net Framework 4.8 is installed and the server has been restarted.

 

After getting the Windows UAC prompt, the installation immediately fails and the "On-premises data gateway service" service dies and has to be restarted. No error information is given.

hi  @nicg 

I have tested on my side, it works well.

I would suggest you try to uninstall version 3000.66.4 and reinstall version 3000.68.15, then use recovery key to restore the gateway.
