Hi @gagoush,

I got information internally below:

Two things:

1. You're not going to be able to use the canvas due to the issue CRI 78852418. I have coded a fix, but there have been delays in getting it checked in.

2. I see that you put a select statement in the "Query" field. If you do that, you will not be able to use Direct Query mode. Leave it blank, and you can navigate to your table using the UI.

Qiuyun Yu

Thanks a lot for your answers.

I understood point 2 so I got rid of the query. Is this suppose to be normal behaviour? THe workaround is to use views then I suppose?

As for point 1, this is exactly the behaviour I got. Unable to retrieve any data when dragging and drop into the canva.

When do u think the fix will be available?

Thanks,

Hi @gagoush,

1. Tentative ETA (error occurs when dragging data to canvas) is the November Release.

2. The code is till in review. Plan to release the change is tentatively scheduled for November Release.
