Content Packs Via API Empty

Hi Everyone,

We have been using content packs to manage the distribution of reports to different customers for a while now. We are using the Service API to display a list of reports a user has access to in our web application. The selected report is then displayed (using On-premises Data Gateway) in an iFrame, again via the Service API.

Up until a few days ago, this was working fine, but recently, when the application requests the list of reports, an empty JSON object is returned by the API for some users, despite those users being able to access the content pack reports/dashboards within the PBI Service Portal. This is not affecting all users - some of our content packs are working as expected, whilst some are not. The issue appears to be "spreading".

I have tried the following:

> Added an affected user to a different content pack and applied that pack to the user's workspace

> Removed all content packs and re-added for a given user

> Re-published a content pack

This is a live issue, so please let me know what additional information is required for troubleshooting.

Cheers

Tim

Hi @dzg7pl,

Which methods do you share content pack with issued users, individuals, Office 365 groups, distribution groups, or security groups?

Which Service API you mean to get report lists, Get Reports API?

As there are some other users don't have the issue, please share the content pack in the same way for the issued users then test again.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
