Container exited unexpectedly with code 0xC0000374. Used features: Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0.

I am having trouble with one of my Access databases at the moment. It will not import into PowerBI.

Here are all the steps I have tried:

1. Create blank PowerBI and manually get data from that database - Doesn't work

2. Create blank PowerBI and manually get data from a different database - Does work

3. Get data using PowerQuery from that database on Excel - does work

4. Opening the database - Does work.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Hi @Anonymous

What is the connector you use to get data from Access database ? What is your version of desktop ?

If you're loading an Access database to Power BI Desktop, the versions of the Access Database Engine 2010 OLEDB provider and Power BI Desktop on that machine must match (that is, either 32-bit or 64-bit). For more informationplease refer to the link below .

Hi! Thanks for your response

I have already looked into this article (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-access-database-errors) and both Access and PowerBI are 64bit.

Power BI Desktop version is: Version: 2.102.845.0 64-bit (February 2022)

Access:  Microsoft® Access® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2201 Build 16.0.14827.20158) 64-bit

The PowerBI has an "Access" connector option which is how I am retrieving the data. Both files are local to my machine.

To clarify, my other databases refresh on PowerBI just fine, it's only this particular one.

Here is the more detailed error message I get on this database, if it would help:
