Capacity Metrics Analysis - Background TimePoint Operations

Hello,

Just raising what I think is a bug. When you drill-through to the TimePoint data, as in the documentation here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/service-premium-metrics-app

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/media/service-premium-metrics-app/timepoint-dr...

The data appears to be filtered correctly for the interactive operations, but not for the background operations. It looks like it returns all data in the last 24 hours for background which I believe is significantly overstating the point in time background operations' % of capacity on the chart above. I believe this because when I extract the data, the sum of 24 hours worth of data is equal to the % of capacity shown, not for the point in time. Because most of the heavy background tasks occur over night and early morning - I think this is overstating background operations capacity % by ~25% in my case in the middle of the day.

Thank you,

Josh

Hi @JoshPBI ,

Thanks for the feedback, this is a design issue we don't have enough authority to deal with at the moment.

You may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
