Cannot sign-in

I have the latest Feb-2022 version. When I click Sign-in in the Desktop and enter the email, it opens a browser and after I select there my account - I see the following error in the browser.

After that when I try to sign-in again in the Desktop - nothing happens, even the browser does not open.

Restarting the Desktop/Browser didn't help.

The connection for this site is not secure

localhost sent an invalid response.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Status: Investigating

Seems like it is related to the SSL error based on your pc, you can try:

  1. Clear SSL State.
  2. Verify SSL Certificate (DNS settings haven’t fully propagated yet).
  3. Check the System Time and Date.
  4. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies.
  5. Disable Browser Extensions.
  6. Update Browsers to Latest Version.
  7. Update Your Operating System.
  8. Temporarily disable Antivirus and Firewall (Sometimes these software might incorrectly block a secure connection).

When there is an issue with the SSL protocol that generates an encrypted connection between a website’s browser and the server, the error code ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR usually occurs. There are some reasons for the error to be occured which are as follows:- 1) Inadequate connections to the Internet 2) Incorrect configuration of the proxy 3) An out-of-date SSL/TLS protocol version 4) Inaccurate time and date 5) Expired Certificate 6) A mismatch between the encryption methods used by the client and server. 7) An insecure SSL certificate also ends up displaying the SSL connection error message. I was also facing such an issue, their are different ways to solve the error and I found the following detailed article for the error solution:- https://certera.com/blog/how-to-fix-err-ssl-protocol-error-in-chrome/. I hope it helps!
