Buttons and shapes - text looks different in desktop vs service (padding and wrapping)

Many of my buttons and shapes got broken today. They look different in service compared to desktop version. Instead of showing full text, it cuts it off with three dots, as if there's no wrapping. Seems to happen when there is Padding settings applied. Earlier it would break into couple lines and show full text.

@Anonymous  Hello, I'm also experiencing the same issue. When will this be fixed?

Hi @JRA21_13_19_25, I don't know when it's going to be fixed, but I did raise a support request, as advised by Microsoft representative in my company. Today had to supply sample pbix because engineer was unable to reproduce the issue.

I went ahead and updated my reports where I would see this issue happening. Since I want to keep shape formatting functionality, I kept background shape and layered another shape for the text on top. Not sure if you've noticed, but if you don't apply any padding settings to the text - it wraps nicely. Just need to adjust the width of the shape.

I've found the issue as well, in the labels of bookmark navigators. If it helps with the investigation it appears to be related to labels that are 'barely' long enough to trigger the word wrap. What we're finding is that the labels that are quite long continue to wrap, but the ones that would trigger the wrapping by only a few characters are the ones that now stay on the one line with truncation and dots.

I can also add that it occurs with reports that had been published months ago, so not just newly published ones.

Not sure if this is somehow related, but ...  I customised the padding on all my visuals, only to find that after someone else edited and saved the PBIX (without touching the padding settings), all that customisation had been lost and padding values were reset to their originals. This has happened twice now, so I stopped re-doing it until I know it can be preserved.
