Bug : Calculated measure from SSAS cube in the Matrix is not showing visual in Power BI

When using a calculated measure ( in the calculation script of the cube) and visualising it in the Matrix in Power BI, the measure name disappears when it is a row and for instance months are on the columns. Note the the measurses values are correctly appearing it is just the name on the left side that is not. However if an non calculated measure is added to the matrix on the rows. Then the Calculated measures name appears ( as does the non calculated measure). Please advise.

Hi @inayatkhan,

Would you please share some screenshots to clarify the issue?

In the matrix visual, if only a measure placed in Values bucket, the measure name will display in column header:

I have manage to make the Matrix work thanks for getting back to me. I may not have added all components initially to make it display.

Attached is the matrix when the calculated measure is first displayed in the Matrix.Empty Calculated Measure Name in Matrix.PNG

Now I add the column measure from the table or cube ( not calculated using MDX or Dax)

Calculated and Non calculated measures with names appearing in Matrix.PNG

Removing the non calculated measure causes the measure name of the remaining calculated mesure to  disappear.  So this is a bug.
