Bug: Adobe Analytics 2.0 (Beta) connector - problem with the year dimension

Hi,

There is a bug with the Adobe Analytics 2.0 connector.

When you are on the Navigator screen and add the year dimension to the date granularity to your data the connector gives you the following error message:

Unexpected error: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

The other granularities work (e.g. month, day). Please let me know if any further information is required.

Do you mean the Date Range parameter in the navigator like below:

Maybe I misunderstood it, "add year dimension to the date granularity" means you haven't add a full date in the parameter, right? If so, the error returned "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime".

I suggest you try to use start date "01/01/2023" and end date "03/01/2023".

This is aimed to confirm the problem relates to the given date and exclude other factors.

Thanks for that. I've tried to use the two different start/end dates and still no luck unfortunately.

To confirm, it is only the Year that has this error, when I select the others (e.g. Month/Day) it does work

Hey All,

If you're still getting this error, please check your report suite calendar setting in Adobe Analytics. 

If you're using Modified Gregorian Calendar it would render the date in format something like - 2023 (Jan 1 - Dec 31) which is something not supported by Power BI it seems. 

The default calendar setting renders in YYYY format and hence it works.
