BUG: Shadows on object not lining up correctly

When setting a custom position on a shadow (e.g. on a button), the shadow tends to "bleed over" onto other angles.

If I for example set a shadow with following parameters:

Offset: Inside

Position: Custom

Size: 0 px

Blur: 0 px

Angle: 0

Distance: 3 px

Transparency: 0 px

This will produce a single vertical line on the left of the button (which is intended), but when it is displayed in the service (or sometimes even in the Desktop), the line seems to fill a little of the top (or bottom - it is very inconsistent), which is quite annoying.

I use the function to create a natural divider between visuals and reduce the number of objects on the page, so this is quite frustrating and renders the function/hack unusable.

A workaround could be an option to enable borders on specific sides of the visual, somewhat in the line of what is done on the table/matrix visuals - or as with the Title divider introduced in the latest update.

Hi  @phelmsdk ,

I found feedback from other users on the idea forum about this issue in the past.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Hi Caitlyn/ @Anonymous ,

It would be really helpful if you could provide a couple of links to some of the other forum post, as I struggle to find those with the keyword "shadow".

As for the workaround, I will post that as an idea for sure.
