BUG::Open data model not available

CONTEXT:

Datasource is a lakehouse.

Report has been created with PBID. All tables in DirectQuery mode via the lakehouse SQL Analytics endpoint.

Report is published to Fabric.

ISSUE:

0__go to the Fabric workspace and open the report

1__from the menu bar: ...>Open semantic model

2__from the semantic model page, the menu bar looks like this, ie Open data model is greyed out:

My admin showed me the settings:

The option is therefore enabled. In fact, other reports have the option enabled.  The only difference is that the underlying datasource for this report is the lakehouse AND in DirectQuery mode, NOT in DirectLake mode because the latter is impossible when creating a report in PBID.

So either the message in the settings dialog needs to be changed, or lakehouse connectivity in DirectQuery mode now also is treated (erroneously?) as equivalent to DirectLake?
