ArcGIS Online reference layer not showing in Power BI add-in

Hi,

A colleague of mine has shared a reference layer showing Nottingham City wards on ArcGIS online; however, this is not available in Power BI. She has ensured that it is saved as a shared feature layer and we're not sure how to resolve the issue. Do you know what we will need to do to get this reference layer to show up.

By default, the hosted feature layer can only be accessed by the publisher or an administrator. To make the layer available to ArcGIS Maps for Power BI users, you must share the file with the public. Could you please have a check about that?

Hi Herbert,

Thank you so much for getting back to me. The layer was originally shared with the public. I think the issue was with my colleague's ArcGIS account. A different colleague has gone through the same process on his account and the reference layer is now showing.

Kind Regards

Danielle

Hi Danielle,

Can you share the details of what different step did your other colleague took to show your reference layer in Power BI because I have been facing the same issue.

Thanks,

Hritesh

Hi Danielle,

did you colleague just connected to the portal with his username and credentials and so this layer no problem, or he did do something to make that layer to shown up? I have published an HFL layer  to ArcGIS online and for some reason I cannot see it in PowerBI still.

Regards,

Emin
