I ran into issues with Dataflows Gen2 (aka PowerQuery online) not supporting some Excel files on import from SharePoint. After digging I found some countries push saving Excel files as "Strict Open XML Spreadsheet (*.xlsx)". We create feature-workspaces for developing new Artifacts in MS Fabric. These feature-workspaces are created by a CICD pipeline that's triggered automatically when a GIT-branch is created based on the main-branch. When publishing a report in Power BI that retrieves data from a semantic model located in a different workspace, users may encounter a situation where they cannot view the report—even though they have view permissions for both the report's workspace and the source workspace of the semantic model. Hello All, My team and I are working on automating visual testing for Power BI reports post-deployment. The goal is to validate whether a report is rendering correctly or if it is broken, using the Sempy_labs library. Currently, the library lacks functionality to detect broken visuals based on the UI appearance. To work around this, we have converted our reports from the standard .pbix format to the .pbip format, which allows us to inspect and automate more granular elements of the report.
